In our line of work, artistry meets science. In our California and Colorado factories we have built a team of the highest skilled glaze gurus and clay masters. We create all of our tile lines from the dust up, bringing together the earth’s most fundamental elements and minerals to make our glazes and clay. Add the touch of the human hand, the fire of the kiln, all our skill and expertise, and you have the recipe for some of today’s most sought-after tiles. Visionaries Theresa and Lisa tirelessly lead our design program, finding inspiration for new tiles around the globe with a single goal—a collection of product lines with choices for everyone. Thousands of colors and designs have been imagined, developed and edited in our factory and with our global partners. We believe in pushing the boundaries of tile design and innovation to turn our ideas into reality. If we have a vision, we will make it. In addition to the tiles we handcraft in California, we’ve established partnerships with like-minded makers all over the world to develop original products available only through our showrooms. Each culturally unique — and often family-run — factory shares our values and vision in regards to sustainability, creativity and craft. Lisa and Theresa travel to Asia, Europe and South America to get to know the process and the people behind each and every collaboration. Making handcrafted tile requires skill and artistry that can only be learned from decades of experience — and we have it. Traveling the world, our visionary team Lisa and Theresa find inspiration everywhere, pushing the boundaries of design and innovation to turn their ideas into reality. For us, the beauty is in the details: meticulous attention goes into every glaze, texture and shape, meaning that we have carefully coaxed all of the inherent beauty out of every tile we make. It begins and ends with a love for what we do.

We do everything possible to keep scrap tile and seconds out of landfills, but scrap happens.

Usable seconds are donated to Habitat for Humanity for use in affordable home
construction.

Scrap tile is repurposed as a non-toxic ingredient in road bed. ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS ARE

Both now and in the future, our goal is always to pursue best sustainability practices in everything we do. In our own factory, we have made substantial investments in solar power, custom water recycling systems and
better efficiency with our materials. We ONLY use ingredients and materials that are safe for our employees and the planet.
